a question to all master guistarists/teachers out there! HELP?
Mavisonfire asked:
my dream is to be a recognized female guitarist, but never jammed before [no one takes a girl seriously] and i want to make music of my own but i suck at writing songs, i want it to be unique but it's just plain corny. i'm my own judge, i've never shown it to anyone but thats what i think of my art.

plus, i want to be able to play fast, not necessarily like malmsteen/the human abstract/thomas erak, etc.. but just fast coz there's more to that. i just want to be really good in guitar, i want a music career. i want to take music theory lessons, read notes, read solfeo [idk what its called in english], improvise, master those stuff.
so my question is: how long did it take you guys to play fast? am i running out of time to master it? i'm 14.
what excercises should i do to train my fingers to play faster? i have one and use my metronome.
i know everything takes time, i'm doing everything slowly, but what should i do to be able to be good?
please share your experiences.
how to read music fast
