Looking for a program that writes and reads sheet music?

vball4life38 asked:

I have a singing audition coming up and I wanted to practice with the music. I do not know how to play piano, so I need a program where I can type in the sheet music and then it will play it back for me. I can read music, but I unfortunately cannot play the piano. I would prefer this program to be free, but I am keeping my options open.

A question for all piano players?

turtlesarecool asked:

I'm a beginner piano player (I have no idea what my grade/class is, since I'm learning from a high school course) and I was wondering, after playing for around 3 months, there hasn't been much improvement in:
a) the speed at which I read music
b) the performance of my fingers
What i mean by the performance of my fingers is that, I have a very heavy hand and I'm not very good with dynamics. Also, I have a habit of playing things really fast and not having a good rhythm.
So, how can I be better at reading notes, and how can i make my fingers more accurate and have a lighter touch?
