Could you read my essay and revise my grammar errors?

jan asked:

Music has been a part of our lives since long times ago. Today, we

are bombarded with music. It is present at home, on the tv, in our as

cars we drive to school or work. It has become almost as prevalent as

the air we breathe.

Thereby, music affect our lives in many diffrent ways. Music has a

definite effect on people, animals, plants. In fact, it can have a powerful

infulence on our body, mind, and emotions.

Music expresses our feeling and emotions. Music with a "beat"

can stimulate our body. Music with powerful melodies and harmonies

performed with feeling can make us weep or cry out of joy. When we

are sad, it can help to define and articulate different emotions and

when we are happy, it combines and adds a dance to our step.

Music helps babies to learn things faster. The babies who listen to

music since they were young have more chances to be smarter than

the babies who did not listen to music. I've heard that music does not

make them smart. But, it stimulates the speed of learning.

Music has a positive effect on animals and plants. In the dairy farm,

they play the classical music all day. Because, music makes cows to

produce more milk, and makes them relax so the cows get less

stress.

On the other hand, music also has negative effects on our lives.

Some scientists claimed that listening to music on driving makes an

aggressive driver and thsi causes some accidents.

Also, there are some songs with offensive lyrics. This kind of music

can affect teenagers. They are still growing and their minds have not

developed enough to be responsible. it also causes some violence.

For example, I saw a boy ,who was 5 years old, singing a song about

sex ,and drug. It was a shock to me. This kind of songs could make

teenager to cause some troubles.

Music has been called "International Language". Even, if we can't

speak the language of a country, we can move, dance, and most of all

enjoy of the music of the country. we may not understand the words of

a musical selection, but we do understand the beauty.

I'm not a native speaker ,so I'm having a hard time with essay.
Could you revise my grammar errors and make them correct?
Also I'll appreciate if you give me some suggestion that can help me to develop this essay

I’m 17 and want to learn piano?

jsw1188 asked:

I want to start learning piano, sheet music?
I have really good finger dexterity/hand eye coordination/reflexes from playing rhythm games over the years, so my friend (who's been playing piano for years) suggested that I try piano.

I'll have plenty of free time soon, so I hope 17 isn't too late of an age to start.

My main questions are:

How long would it take to play at this level?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLuSuXHD9...

Is reading sheet music necessary for a beginner? I wouldn't be against it, but it just seems really complicated.

And finally, is it recommended to take lessons? I'd prefer to just learn on my own free time, but I want to learn the fastest way possible.

Would you offer me some basic information on how to read music?

Dreamer asked:

Is all written music based on the same system? If you move from one instrument to another, do you re-learn a specific method of writing? I'd love to check out some recommended reading and websites! Thank you! I have little to no musical understanding, but I'm here to start!
