I read music&hit most notes pretty well,but the QUALITY of my voice isn’t that good. Is there a way to improve?

OK so i love to sing<3 i can read some music ( ive been learning in chorus as well as on my own) and i can also always hit most notes low or high. but the thing is the QUALITY of my isn't that good =/ people tell me i have a good voice but i believe its very airy and sounds kinda raspy and harsh if you know what i mean like sort of breathy underneath it? I love to sing! is there a way to fix this? Will voice lessons help?
