   Create a video blog

   Make flash cards. I learned when I was 7, but I’m sure it’s not too late. You only need to learn treble clef if you’re playing the violin. If you don’t want to make them, this is a good site to help you.
   Once you start actually playing, you get used to it. If you can’t remember it, try to remember that, starting from the bottom line, the staff reads EGBDF, and FACE is the order of the spaces.
   Remember, the order of the notes in a C scale: CDEFGABC. Hope this helped!

   read music

   I’ve been taking piano for 10 years now but have never been a strong reader. I usually learn by ear. However, I just switched teachers this year and now I focus more on reading and less on memorizing big pieces. I remember when I was first reading music, how difficult it was, but it will get better. The only thing I can tell you is to keep looking at it and trying to figure it out because it will come. Sixteen is definitely not too late to start, and I give you kudos for trying I would go to a music store and buy some easy beginner “learning to read” books. They are always worth a shot, and when you start getting lessons, it is your teacher’s job to help you learn how to read. Don’t worry, it will come with practice and time!
