If you are referring to “my CD player” as a stand alone CD player (in a vehicle, entertainment system or portable) then you can use various programs to author an audio CD from the MP3 formats. I use Songbird, an open source multi-media program similar to iTunes and Windows Media Player.
You need to create a play list then usually have to set up the burning preferences in the program options to write to a CD format. Each program is subtly different so you may need to consult the help menu within the program you use.
