Piano question-Why am I having a very hard time learning how to read music?
Santa Claus(e)-The pianist. asked:
I said a prayer to God that no matter how,frustrated,mad,stressed I got that I would not stop learning new things about piano and how to read music,just yesterday I printed out one page of sheet music for the Christmas song Deck The Hall and I put the music in front of me and I tried to look at it and play it like a professional would but I can't,it doesn't even sound right I often feel like just giving up on piano and stop learning new things but I know that I can't because I promised God I would not stop studying and teaching myself piano,can anyone give me any feed back or advice?

You need to take it from the very beginning in small steps that you can manage while you work your way to more complex pieces. Work on one hand at a time when you tackle a new piece, and then put them both together. You can do this with focus and determination. Why do you think God wouldn’t want you to get help from someone else? There are a lot of people who would love to help you.
