  1. Learning How to Read Music Notes

The piano keyboard will make visualizing the notes easier and what they sound like.

  2. Learning How to Read Music Notes

You can learn on any instrument you like, or by singing. You can even learn from a music theory book without an instrument, technically. I suggest the use of a teacher/ tutor, but you can certainly try it on your own. /www.pianoworld.com may be a good resource for you.

  3. how to read music

Of course not! You can learn using solfege methods and there are plenty good ones. I suggest taking lessons or joyning your school choir or music ensemble. There you’re going to learn music in a very practical way and not only reading music books. What’s the point in reading music if you don’t play it?

  4. Music Theory for Beginners

no.. you’ll need some kind of musical instrument though- or at least some way of generating the pitches.

Voice won’t be enough, unless you have perfect pitch, because you’ll need to have a reference point. Going from E to F to F# is easy enough. But how do you go from E to Bb without practicing intervals along with an instrument?
