do you know of a good book that teaches how to read music and play piano?

Learning to Read Music
My suggestion? Try to find a reasonably priced local teacher to help you. It’s virtually impossible to learn ‘just’ from books.

Learn Music Reading Lessons
There are no good books that teach! If you really want to play, I suggest just putting in what it takes and getting lessons! It’s worth it in the long run!
