    @Odin5150 – Tabs isn’t all you need at all, and that comment alone makes me suspicious about your alleged qualifications. Tabs do not take into account timings of notes, nor does it explain how to play the whole piece as a coherent piece of music. If you are already familiar with a piece of music then tabs show you where to put your fingers, but if you are learning something you aren’t that familiar with, traditional notation is better. I say this as a self taught bassist who can’t read music!
