i played guitar for only about 5-6 months and can play songs by reading TABS. tabs are so easy and you dont need to go to the store to buy music, you can find tabs for any songs online. learning tabs also helped me to learn chords! just look up on google “(name of song) guitar tabs” or “how to read tabs”

Um, no. The ability to read music and the physical ability (dexterity, etc.) to play music on the guitar are two completely different things. Interrelated I suppose, but different.

Learn How to Read Music Notes
NO, to learn how to play guitar, you actually have to pick one up, i have been playing for over 17 yrs, you can read all you want but your not going to learn how to play by reading. practice is how you learn. it does help to know how to read music. because if your playing along with someone and they hand you sheet music, you wont be able to play the song unless you know how to read it . un less you learn it by ear,
