“Turkish March” and “Fur Elise” letter notes?

goldengrades asked:

I know how to play piano, and I want to learn the Turkish March and Fur Elise songs. I cannot play well enough to look at sheet music and play fast, so please give the notes for both right hand and left hand for both songs in letter form. Please label which is right hand, left hand, and which song each is. Please do not tell me to wait to become more experienced or to look at sheet music. As I told you, I cannot read sheet music and play the song at the correct speed, nor do I want to wait. These are the songs that I want to learn. Thank you for your cooperation.

  1. Music Theory for Beginners

Dude, it’s way easier to see it on a staff. Play it slow if you want until you memorize the hand motions. It’s always worked for me.

  2. Music Reading

look. writing down the letter names is not going to do anything for you. you’ll need to know the values of each note and how long to hit each note. you’ll need to know when you play two notes together and when not to. giving you the letters is not going to help. however, below, i’ve linked you to two pictures and they have every single note on each staff listed. take a look at the pictures and write in the letters yourself, it’ll be a lot easier than just giving you the letters. i know it’s not exactly what you wanted, but giving you the letters is way too time consuming and wouldn’t really help you at all.

These are pretty complex pieces and firstly you can’t write down the notes because you need to know the note values . I know you don’t wanna wait but it seems your only opition as you will need lessons to read sheet music. You can’t play these pieces without this knowledge. Also you will need to know the pitch of the notes because of octaves and all that . Sorry this isn’t the answer you wanted but it is the truth.

  4. Sight Reading Music

Learn to read music, so you don’t have to depend on someone else to baby you through every piece you want to play. On piano, the top staff is the right hand, and the bottom staff is the left hand.

It should be immediately clear why note letters alone are next to worthless.
