do re me fa so la ti do is just for scales.
You know for warm up when you director says play Bb scale, well that’s it….
DO RE MI FA SO LA TI DO
Bb C… D..Eb F….G…A..Bb
Do re mi fa so la ti do is really sort of used more so for singing the scale.
The next time you play a scale though listen to how it sounds.

Learn How to Read Music Notes
“Do re me” etc. are not note names and will not help you read sheet music, only with that particular scale. I would recommend getting an instruction book and accompanying dvd for the flute as it sounds like you are trying to teach yourself. For a quick reference of what the notes are, look at this picture:. The top is treble and the bottom is bass. Here is an easy way to recall the notes. For the treble clef, the 4 space notes spell FACE. The 5 line notes can create the phrase “Every Good Boy Does Fine”. In terms of the bass clef, the space notes can use the phrase “All Cows Eat Grass” or “All Cars Eat Gas” and the line notes “Great Big Dogs Fight Animals”. All these move from bottom to top. The high pitched notes are above the rest, the low pitched are below the rest. Music is very artistic and beautiful, but it is also logical and systematic.
This is an extremely brief introduction to reading sheet music. There is MUCH more to it than knowing where each note is. When you are on the internet or at the library, look up music theory. I can’t tell you where to find notes on a flute as I do not play, but music theory is universal. The only thing that changes is where the notes are located on each instrument, not how to read the music. In order for you to be able to quickly read music it requires a lot of patience, hard work, and daily practice. You will not improve if you do not practice! If you go too long before your next practice session, you will find that you have probably regressed a little. Only the most determined become excellent musicians, but do not look at it as work. It is a wonderful experience and with the right attitude can be fun! Good luck!

Music Reading
well in the sheet music the do re me…ect. represents a scale. it could be any of them really it’s just a change of key. anyway you should really try to find someone to help you out with the flute. it’s never good to teach yourself how to play ANY intrument because it makes bad habbits. however, here are some websites.
Books are helpful also.
hope this was helpful! =D

Learn to Read Music
Here are the names of the notes that land on the lines. In order as if you were reading the music:
F
D
B
G
E
You can remember them by “Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge”
Here are the names of the notes in the spaces:
E
C
A
F
you can remember them by “FACE”
I would suggest buying a beginner’s flute book.
