You’re not going to improve a lick by spending your time online, genius.

Private lessons are probably the best way – learning from someone who is better than you. They can personalize your lessons to whatever areas you need improvements in. Also, of course, daily practice.

The best way to learn to sight read is to get a book of songs you don’t know and sight read your way through the whole thing. Practice makes perfect, and that is the best way to learn to sight read.

As far as ad libbing goes, there are certain scales that are everywhere in jazz music. There are major and minor jazz scales, and really the important scale in jazz improv is the pentatonic scale. Learn that well in all your keys, and working those scales through key changes will get you through a lot of improv. Hope this helps.
